Move Better. Live Better. Run Better.

Activities of daily living increasingly impact on a runner’s ability to enjoy running throughout their life; the average age of recreational runners is now over 40 years (up from 35.8 a decade ago). Helping runners maintain health and motivation should therefore be a key priority for all running retailers.

"Move Better. Live Better. Run Better." is a presentation designed to help runners and retailers alike gain knowledge, language, and functional tools to address this priority. We will discuss Function, Impact, and Balance (FIB) for any runner to achieve running goals and improve quality of life.

Function is the ability to perform the six human movements of push, pull, squat, hinge, loaded carry, and rotation with full range of motion and without deviation.  These are the movements we perform in everyday life.  Impact is how our inability to perform those movements affect our lives and our running.  Balance involves counteracting the effects of daily activities and restoring stability in movement, leading to improved and efficient running.

Move Better allows the running retailer to become an additional resource for the runner while also increasing revenue streams with local partnerships.
